The Miracle Worker Act 3 test

Annie means that Helen is following the rules, but she may not truly understand what she is doing. If she doesn't understand, she won't truly learn.

Annie uses a dictionary often to make sure she spells words correctly for Helen.

Why does Helen put Belle's paw in the water?
She is trying to teach the dog in the same way Annie is teaching her.

Why does James say that it has been a short two weeks while Kate says that it has been interminable?
James has preferred the house to be quiet, while Kate misses her child and feels that she always has something do to when Helen is there.

What is the "miracle" that happens at the water pump?
