Upcoming Senior Events

October 9 - We have tentatively scheduled the Episcopal Church picture for 9:30 a.m. Guys must wear a coat and tie, girls should wear a nice skirt and blouse, or nice dress.

October 11 - We are decorating pumpkins with our Patriot Pals. SENIORS are responsible for bringing any items used to decorate the pumpkins. They will be judged and awards will be given out :)

The Fall Festival is scheduled for October 29th. The seniors are doing the cake walk this year. You must bring a cake, cupcakes, or cake pops, and you must work a shift at the festival. We will have a sign-up sheet for cakes and shifts closer to time. This is mandatory; it is not optional.

Operation Christmas Child - Each homeroom has been asked to make a shoe box for Operation Christmas Child. If each student will bring $1 by Friday, I will buy the items for the shoe box. If you would like to make a shoe box on your own, please do so - Samaritan's Purse is such a great organization and it would be greatly appreciated. I will also give you extra credit in computer if you make a shoe box! Due date is November 1st.

Senior Portraits have started. I will try to put that week's schedule on the blog.

Please know that every week, your vocabulary workbook lesson is due on the second day of the week. Usually it will be Tuesday, but since Monday was a holiday, this week's vocab homework was due Wednesday. If you know you will be absent, go ahead and do your vocabulary homework. Remember, I count homework as all or nothing. I do not give partial credit for doing only part of the homework. The students have been told this several times. This homework grade should be the easiest grade to earn; however, I have given several zeros for students not having their homework completed! The Lady, Or The Tiger? test will be given next week.
